Funeral services of any kind within our building require the approval of both the pastor and the session, and the completion of a Facilities Usage form, which will be provided to you when you make a request. Funerals performed in our church will be consistent with Presbyterian beliefs, theology, and practice, and respectful of the leadership of this congregation.
All dates need to be cleared by the pastor first. If another pastor is desired to do the service, we are able to accommodate that request, with current pastor’s approval.
The church does not secure the use of musicians for a service, including the church musician. The requesting parties will need to contact musicians and provide for that separately, in a way that is consistent with the Facilities Usage Policy, and with Presbyterian beliefs, theology, and practice.
