Sundays are our most important days at First Presbyterian Church, Natchitoches!
Our day begins at 9:30a.m. with Sunday School. We have four Sunday School classes currently: two for adults, one for teens and one for children. The Galilee class, for adults, and the Bethlehem Class for teens meet at 9:30a.m. The Canaan class, for children, and the Calvary class, for teens and adults, meet at 9:45a.m. All classes are accessed, if you’re facing the building, via the breezeway doors, which are on the left. The Galilee class is in the hallway closest to the doors, the Bethlehem in the hallway on the left, and the Canaan class is in the middle of the hallway, and the Calvary class at the other end, furthest from the doors.
Between Sunday School and worship, at 10:30a.m., we have fellowship with one another in Dugdale Hall, with snacks and juice or coffee, provided by a rotation of volunteers. If you arrive at this time, Dugdale Hall is accessed through the middle doors as you look at the building.
Worship service begins at 11a.m. in the sanctuary. If you arrive at this time, the sanctuary is accessed from the doors on the far right as you look at the building. On the first Sunday of each month we celebrate the Lord’s Supper/Communion, and have a luncheon afterwards called “First Sunday Lunch”, provided by a rotation of volunteers, and all those attending are invited to stay for the meal!
